Memo Brings Extensive Consumer Technology and Executive Management Experience

In his new role, Memo will oversee worldwide Linksys product development, product marketing and engineering for its line of consumer-based products including routers, switches, storage, cameras, networked entertainment, wireless, gateways, modems and other products targeting the home. Greg Memo will focus his efforts on leading the Linksys vision and product development execution worldwide.

Previously Memo served as the Senior Vice President of Products, Marketing and Web for Gateway Computer. He was responsible for all aspects of product marketing, engineering, strategic alliances and marketing. He also served as Senior Vice President of Products and Operations at Gateway as well as eMachines. He led the integration of eMachines’ products and operations into Gateway when eMachines was acquired by Gateway in 2004.

Greg Memo has also served in various executive positions including the President and COO of Alta Vista, VP and GM of Consumer Mobile Products Group at Compaq, President of Arima Computer USA and has held various positions at Apple Computer. Memo reports to J. Michael Pocock, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Linksys.
